CSS capabilities are also provided as well as recurring template use for automated billing. Users can import client data from their BaseCamp account. BlinkSale also gives users the option of sending PDF invoices. The application works with international currencies and offers Paypal integration. For an additional fee, users can also add BlinkPay, which enables them to accept online credit card payments through the application. BlinkSale also provides phone and email support (as well as live chat when available).

What is the history and popularity of the app?

BlinkSale is currently run by DoubleWide Labs. Based out of Dallas, Texas, the application was developed in 2005. It was intended to provide users with a simple solution that would enable them to manage their invoices and estimates online. Today, BlinkSale lives up to expectations offering a valuable service in a user friendly way.

There are many things to love about BlinkSale. One of the most attractive features is the price. Users can choose from a handful of plans that vary from as few as six invoices each month to unlimited. This is a great option for individual professionals and small businesses that may be on a very tight budget. BlinkSale allows them to purchase only as many invoices as they need so they spend less.

How does the web app look and feel to use?

The BlinkSale website invites users with a very pleasant blue color scheme accented by hints of teal and gold. How does the registration process work?

Visitors can register for a BlinkSale membership by clicking on the gold and blue “Sign Up” button in the upper, right hand corner of the homepage. The following page asks the user to select their desired membership plan. After clicking on the corresponding button, the user can scroll down to access the registration form. The form requires a first and last name, email address and desired BlinkSale URL. The user must also check the privacy policy and terms of service agreement box at the bottom of the form before clicking the gold “Create Account” button. Once the information has been submitted, the user is asked to check their email for a verification code which must be entered to add a password and begin using BlinkSale.

What does it cost to use the application?

BlinkSale offers four membership options to its users. All new users are given a 15 day free trial. The first membership, called the Bronze, includes up to six invoices per month and costs around $6 per month. Next is the Silver membership which costs around $12 per month and upgrades to 50 invoices. The Gold membership includes up to 250 invoices per month with a subscription fee of just under $25 per month. The Platinum membership costs around $100 per month and gives the user unlimited invoices. Users are also given the option of adding BlinkPay which costs around $20 additional per month (plus transaction fees).
